On UK streets, June 18

This travel-themed issue of sorts centres on travelling closer to home rather than leaving the country. We wanted to capture the classic style of British tourism posters and guide covers of the 1930s.

Back in the room

Been a busy few months returning to British soil, relocating to London and settling in as art director of the nationwide Big Issue. I now head up a production team at Dennis Publishing in London but my old editorial office remains in Glasgow. This office divide has been tricky but we’re starting to achieve things – not entirely sure how but we are…

And I’m a bit homeless… the irony of it all…

Anyway, here’s a little pick of some covers we’ve done. I’ve just realised the files here are all the Scottish edition (I’m biased perhaps), but we now do all five UK editions – Scotland, England, Wales, London and the South West.

There’ll be more from me later. I’m just getting started…

The homesick version - the 4 other regional editions didn’t have the saltire and ‘Homeboy’ line… they really didn’t… promise…
